Daily Motion Announces $25 Million Funding Round

  DailyMotion, the French video sharing sites which attracts 60 million unique monthly visitors and one billion video views worldwide, announced October 22 that it has raised $25 million (€17 million) in a round led by the French Sovereign Fund and original investors Advent Venture Partners, AGF Private Equity, Atlas Venture and Partech International. The FSI is a societe anonyme or French corporation owned 51% by the Caisse des Despots et Consignations and 49% by the French government. It acts as an informed investor, taking minority stakes in promising French companies and industrial projects that create value and boost the competitiveness of the country's economy.
