Informilo aims to give a balanced, accurate and independent view of developments in the global technology sector. Jennifer L. Schenker, Informilo's founder, does not own shares in any technology company. Advertisers and Individuals or companies that help fund Informilo are not guaranteed positive coverage and don't get to see stories in advance or select or reject topics. The company's own funds are used to buy all devices used in the production of news, such as computers, digital media players, digital cameras, as well as Internet and mobile phone service.
Journalists who work for Informilo must sign documents promising that they will not accept any money, or anything else of value, from the companies they cover, or from their public relations or advertising agencies. Informilo's journalists don't accept trips or product discounts from companies covered or from their public relations or advertising agencies. Informilo's journalists are also prohibited from serving as a consultant to any technology companies.
